Owner, Pharmacist in Charge

Dr. Josiah Bunting was born and raised in Linwood, New Jersey where he currently resides with his wife Angela and their three daughters, Avery (12), Alexandra (10), and Angeline (8). He graduated from Mainland Regional High school in 1994. He attended Mount Saint Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, MD where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and was a standout pitcher for the college’s Division 1 baseball team, graduating in 1998. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Pharmacy degree from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia, PA in 2005.

Dr. Bunting has nearly 15 years in the medical and pharmacy industry and has been the owner and head-pharmacist in charge at Bunting Family Pharmacy since 2008. Dr. Bunting is still avidly involved in his community through youth, seniors, law enforcement and veterans programs. It is this involvement and commitment in his community that has earned Bunting Family Pharmacy the honor and privilege of being selected The Pharmacy of Choice for The Northfield VA Clinic.

Additionally, Dr. Bunting is actively and passionately committed to advocating and building awareness for drug addiction and recovery. Dr. Bunting is a regular attendee and participant in Youth and Family Drug Awareness seminars and is a keynote speaker at schools, and recovery clinics nation wide, educating others on drug addiction awareness, prevention, and pain management. He is also an esteemed member of the Atlantic County Opioid task force.
